• Licensed Mississippi dental hygienists, under the direct supervision of licensed Mississippi dentists, may administer Oraqix, a form of dental topical anesthetic, both supragingivally and subgingivally; however, dental assistants may not administer this product. Refer to Board Regulation 13.
