Are Democrats hypocritical to attack the New York Post for that chimp cartoon?
Hypocritical isnt the word I would use. There are just stupid people out there who just want attention, and take every opportunity to find racist tones in everything and whine about them. In this cartoon, the artist didn’t have any racist intentions at all, and the NYT obviously didn’t see any racist tones in the cartoon either, or they wouldn’t have published it. How can they be called racist? The real racists are the people complaining about the cartoon, trying to draw attention to themselves and their race, and how they were wronged in the past. The rest of the world is trying to move on, most of us see everyone as equals, so when we look at the cartoon, we just see an amusing joke about the poorly written stimulus package, nothing about race. In summary, if you find this cartoon offensive, you are actually being racist against yourself, as the majority of us have moved on since the early 1900’s. Please get a life and move on as well.
