Are deep purple and gold tacky wedding colours?
I think it would look pretty, with the gold in moderation. too much gold and you’ll end up looking like a mardi gras party. If you are afraid that it will look tacky you can always go with a softer gold, like a pearlized gold/tan. As far as the third color, maybe using 2 shades of gold, such as a darker more traditional gold and the soft pearl tan, or a dark purple and a lighter shade with the gold.
