Are dangerous materials and solutions safely out of reach?
Does the Director observe the rooms on a regular basis? Yes, both the director and the assistant director observe classrooms daily. They provide assistance with curriculum and disciplinary concerns. Is there an adequate fire safety system in place including alarms, sprinklers, and alternate exits? Yes, there are smoke detectors and fire alarms in each room. This equipment is checked by fire department annually. Fire drills occur periodically. Appropriate lock down procedures are in effect if necessary. Is there adequate heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation in place? This facility was built in 1988 specifically for the purpose of child care. All of these utilities were properly installed at that time and with proper maintenance do provide adequate heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation. Are the meals and snacks provided?
