Are dance remixes good or bad for modern music?
It will always be good for one person, and bad for another. The majority of R&P will probably say it’s bad. The majority of a website devoted to dance remixes will probably say it’s good. Me, I don’t have a strong opinion either way. I like some dance remixes at times (and if someone recommends one, I’d probably check it out). Other times I prefer the original. I like it because 1) I like dance music and 2) it’s interesting to see a different person put a spin on an existing song….but sometimes I don’t like what they did with the song. That didn’t really answer the Q but I would say that it is neither good nor bad…it just IS. It’s all music in the end, just depends on what you like I guess.
