Are Daddy Longlegs spiders dangerous for humans?
Though the bite from a Daddy Longlegs will result in a short, mild burning sensation, there has never been a documented case of any individual suffering an adverse reaction from the toxin in the bite. Venom from this spider is nowhere near as potent as that from the Black Widow. The only consequence of getting bitten by a Daddy Longlegs is perhaps some light bleeding because their fangs can break the skin.
