Are daddy long legs spiders the most venemous spiders?
The reason this question causes so much confusion is because there are three different types of critters around the world called Daddy long legs, but your question is about the spider. I believe the other two are harvestmen and craneflies, and Daddy long legs is just a nickname for them. There is also a spider called a Daddy long legs. So, to answer your question….Daddy long legs spiders are not dangerous to people. It is possible for them to bite, but they aren’t known to have made anyone sick. I am guessing that they got their reputation for being dangerous because they actually kill other spiders that are very venomous, eg. Redback spiders, here in Australia.
