Are Crystal/Indigo children considered mortals?

Er, yes. Of course they are, why wouldn’t they be? In real life “indigo” refers to a child’s personality type and mentality based on the color of their aura (The electromagnetic field created by all living things by/through muscle movements and brain activity). Indigo children have exactly the same lifespan as non indigo children, and if they have any paranormal abilities it is because of regular evolutionary processes rather than because they are indigo. Indigo children are only super powered in the movies, or in episodes of the X-files. Forget what you see on TV. An Indigo child is mostly just a middle class only child (or child form a small family) raised in a suburban environmental by over protective parents. They are self centered, have a fixed world view, don’t play well with others, and consider themselves to be better than the kids around them because they’ve been spoiled, but not spoiled enough to turn into a brat.
