Are criminal records available for minors under the age of eighteen?
Records pertaining to minors are often more difficult or impossible to obtain, depending on the jurisdictions involved. On the other hand, most jurisdictions now prosecute minors as adults if the crimes they were involved with are serious in nature. In those cases the criminal history records would be available. We have found that some minors are included in state violent and sexual offender registries.
