Are cows or bulls dangerous?
Sure they are! But they’re only dangerous if you are interrogating them in any way, or if they see you as a threat. Bulls are dangerous if they know they can intimidate you with their size and strength, plus if they feel that their girls are being threatened or you are competition that needs to be dealt with. Cows tend to be more docile than bulls, but they can be dangerous when they have a calf to protect. Sometimes cattle are dangerous just because they can; these are what I like to call the crazy, wild-eyed ones that see you as a threat no matter what you’re doing to them (or not doing). Most of the time if they see a stranger in their territory they’ll run the other way. But if the cattle that you walk by don’t run the other way, chances are a) their already used to strangers like you, or b) they are quite docile. Either way, don’t get too complacent with them, and don’t trust them to not turn on you suddenly behind your back.
