Yes, the Cordless Framing nailer will not work well above an elevation of 5,000 feet. The Cordless Trim/Finish nailers will operate above 5,000 feet if the high altitude valve is used on the fuel cell. A four pack of blue high altitude valves (part number 219247) is available.
