Continuing education units are available for nurses and social workers. Thirteen (13) and six (6) hours of continuing education are awarded in two- and one-day trainings, respectively. The Infant Adoption Training Initiative is approved by: National Association of Social Workers; Maryland Nurses Association, American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation; University of Pittsburgh, School of Social Work; Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, Social Work; and Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, Counseling.
