Are continuing education units (CEUs) assigned to Outreach Training courses such as the 10-hour and 30-hour construction and general industry courses?
The OSHA Training Institute does not assign CEU’s to outreach courses, or outreach courses taught at OTI Education Centers, or outreach courses taught by authorized OSHA outreach trainers. The OSHA Training Institute (OTI) has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 8405 Greensboro Drive, Suite 800, McLean, VA 22102. In obtaining this approval, the OTI has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standards which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider membership status, OTI is authorized to offer IACET CEU’s for its program that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standards.
