Are contents covered away from the home?
Under the standard cover provided, Contents are covered away from the home within the British Isles for up to 90 days in any one insurance year. Items taken away from the home are covered in certain places in the UK only e.g. In banks, building societies or any building in which your family lives or works in. See policy for full details. Personal Belongings provides more extensive cover for items that are taken away from the home and even covers items that are taken overseas. Items taken overseas are covered for up to 60 days in any one insurance year.
