Are contacts better than glasses?
I’ve worn both for years and based on my experiences here’s what I’ve noticed: Glasses: Pros: sharper vision, less risk of irritation and infection, offer some eye protection, and don’t require expensive cleaning solutions or eyedrops Cons: can be uncomfortable, especially on the nose and over the ears, glasses can break or be lost, screws holding the temples to the frames seem to want to pop out at the worst possible times, lenses can fog up and get dirty, and lenses can get scratched Contacts: Pros: can make you look better, are much lighter and more convenient, there’s less risk of falling off and getting lost Cons: don’t offer as sharp vision, can gunk up, they are irritating to some people, can come out while rubbing eyes, require expensive cleaning solutions, lenses can be torn, are easy to insert the wrong way, it can be extremely painful when a foreign object gets under them, learning to insert them and remove them without flinching takes a lot of practice, and lenses can absor
