Are constellations permanent?
Every galaxy, star and planet, in short everything in the universe moves so, constellations which consist of stars are also changing shape. The distances are so enormous that those changes take place over hundreds, thousands and millions of years which is the reason why we are unable to notice the changes as they happen. With today’s powerful computers, scientists are able to project the way the sky looked in the past, or how it will look in the future. That is the only way of seeing those changes happening.
