No. Almost all other magnetic therapy companies either outsource production or import generic products for resale. Most of these companies have been selling the exact same products for 10-15 years… Based on the latest research findings, multi-pole magnets are obsolete, and now understood to be therapeutically ineffective. Flexible magnets are made of a rubber-like material. They cannot store as much magnetic energy as ceramic or neodymium magnets. (see magnet types) These multi-pole magnets have both north and south poles alternating on the same side – often in patterns, like concentric circles (BIOflex) or triangles (Nikken). Since north and south poles attract, these alternating magnetic fields cancel out about 1/2″ – 3/4″ away from the surface of the magnet. This severely limits the therapeutic effectiveness to only superficial conditions close to the skin’s surface.
