A. To run the compliance checks, any Nessus 3 is required along with a ProfessionalFeed subscription. The underlying operating system that Nessus 3 is running does not matter. You can perform compliance audits of a Windows 2003 server from a Mac OS X system, and you can also audit a Solaris server from a Windows system. Note that Windows users should use Nessus 3.0.3 beta 11 or newer.
