Are Colon Cleanse Products or a Natural Detox Program, safe?
I have personally used only one of many so called Colon Cleanse Products which are on the market today. I have used a product manufactured by Garden of Life called Perfect Cleanse, twice. * Liver Detoxification or cleansing, is usually an important part of these types of internal cleansing programs. I would urge you though, to consult your doctor first, before you undertake any colon cleansing system, fasting, or natural detox program. Use your own judgment and trust how your body feels while using these types of products, and cease using them immediately, if you don’t like how they make you feel. Be aware, that many internal cleansing products have not yet been evaluated by the FDA- US Food and Drug Administration. So, what this means, is that you are taking a chance with using ingredients which are basically not proven to bring results the manufacturer claims. Using these types of cleansing products may be dangerous for some of us. Therefore, use caution while using these; and above
