Carolyn Chang, M.D.: I doubt it. Silicone implants have not been available for the last 10 years. It would be hard for me to believe that the FDA would approve a cohesive gel so easily. If you desire a cohesive gel, there are many investigators around the country that you can consult as a potential subject in the investigation trial. I would probably contact the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for more information.
