Are Club Records, PBs or Athlete points counted in the Knox Open Twilight if I enter an event not listed in my age group, but in an event one year higher?
In the Knox Open Twilight, if an athletes event is not available, an athlete may compete in an age group one year higher. To be recognised as a SB, PB, Club Record or athlete points, the event must be the same distance, weight or height as in their own age group. Some examples: If an U/14 Shot Put (3Kg) competes in the U/15 Shot Put (3Kg) or an U/10 400m competed in the U/11 400m, they would be recognised as a record in their own age group or be a potential SB/PB. If an U/10 1100m Walk competes in the U/11 1500m Walk, or an U/9 80m Hurdles (45cm) competes in the U/10 80m Hurdles (60cm), or an U/10 Discus (500g) competed in the U/11 Discus (750g) there would not be a PB or Club Record recognised.
