Are climate change skeptics the worst kind of skeptic?
Environmental denialists are the worst. They aren’t “for” anything. Creationists pine for a literal truth to the bible. Extraterrestrial-ists need to know we aren’t alone even though it was Clarke who said – even if life is abundant in the universe the chances of us ever running into each other is vanishingly small. Politicos just want an easy answer so they can get things their way. Denialists are against change. They just want things to be easy and the same as they’ve been for the extraordinary past century (for the lucky among us, that is) . It can’t be. It will never be. The past century of excess was the result of a staggering mass delusion, a delusion we are still living – that we can live beyond the means of the Earth indefinitely.
