Are classes ever cancelled for weather or holidays?
Snow days here are the same as the Asheville City Schools. So be sure to watch out for school closings. We have class on such holidays as President.s Day, Martin Luther King Day, etc. However, see the schedule below for dates we do close. What is this Pre-Professional Program I hear so much about? The program is an individually tailored study of 8-13 classes per week. Students are provided assistance with videos, photos, resumes, and auditions, as well as advisement for summer and professional study. What productions will the Asheville Ballet be putting on this year? This season.s performances include The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and a concert of new choreography in classical and contemporary styles. Productions will be cast from members of Asheville Ballet and ADDANCE. Extras (Bon Bons, children, parents) will be chosen by teacher recommendation. When can my child finally wear pointe shoes? Done improperly, pointe work is dangerous. Please do not ask about pointe shoes until you are 11 y
