Yes, if they meet the criteria. If the claimant or partner has not received benefit in the past 52 weeks and any member of the claimant’s household was able to meet the financial commitment when the tenancy was entered into, they will still be entitled to receive the contractual rent, less any ineligible services, for the first 13 weeks of their claim.
