…some people tell me that the only legal ceremonies in Israel are religious ceremonies, which only allow Jews to marry Jews and Muslims to marry Muslims and Christians to marry Christians.That is, I believe, correct. However, Israel does recognize marriages performed abroad -including civil or interfaith marriages. Therefore, those who cannot marry in Israel often simply take a short vacation and marry abroad.
