Are church people hypocrites?
Yes. All of us are. We all present a face to the world which is not necessarily what we are deep down but how we wish to present ourselves. 146 Why should I go to church? We should go to church because we need the loving concern of the community for us and because we need to contribute to the well-being of other Christians. 147 Should people be unemployed? People will be unemployed. It’s a fact of life. We should care for the unemployed just as we should care for all. The mental and physical problems associated with unemployment, redundancy and retirement should be effectively dealt with by the church. 148 Is the space race justifiable?
