Are chinese mp3 players good?
I guess that would depend on the brand of MP3 player, and the price that it is sold at. If it’s a well-respected brand, then it should be OK. If it’s cheap, and has no brand name or a brand that you have never heard of, then it may well be dodgy. For example, last year my wife bought an MP3 player off eBay from somebody who was supposedly based in Preston (in the UK), but actually shipped the MP3 player from Hong Kong! It was advertised as having a 4 GB memory, but when it came to us, it would only store 1 GB of music on it; it turned out that it was a dodgy 1 GB MP3 player where they had corrupted the Master Boot Record (MBR) to make it *look* as though it had 4 GB, but as soon as you copied more than 1 GB to it, the filesystem would get seriously corrupted! So be careful! If you are lucky, you may end up with a bargain. If not, you may end up with a piece of sh1t!
