Are Child Care Workers Required To Have Any Medical Training?

0

Yes. Both Child Care Centers and Family Child Care providers are required to have cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid training. For Family Day Care providers, within 6 months of becoming registered you must submit to your Sponsoring Organization written proof of basic knowledge of first aid and CPR. For Child Care Centers, a staff member who is certified in first aid and CPR shall be in the center at all times when enrolled children are present.
