If you’re looking for a cheap way to get around or a scooter for your kids you would have more than likely come across advertisements for gas scooters for as little as a couple of hundred dollars. At that price you would have to think that they might not be all they are cracked up to be and in a sense you’d be right. It all comes down to how you plan on using your scooter. If you are after a reliable scooter that you will use everyday and will last you ten years or more then you would be better off saving your money and shooting for a name brand scooter. If you can see yourself using the scooter occasionally on trips to and from the bus or around town then a cheap scooter may just be the one that fits the bill. If you plan on buying your kids a scooter that they can cruise down the road to their friends house on the weekend then it’s hard to justify spending a lot of money when there are much cheaper alternatives available.
