Charters that operate only registered AECs are evaluated under AEA procedures. Charters that operate both standard campuses and registered AECs have the option to be evaluated under AEA procedures if at least 50% of the charter’s students are enrolled at registered AECs. Details are provided in Chapter 8 of the Accountability Manual.
