Are Chandlers economic-development competitors within the region or outside of Arizona?
Many communities in the four corner states and/or Texas seem to be our main competitors. I have studied many of our competitors and what they are doing, including taking visits there. Places like Austin, TX, Rio Rancho, N.M. and Draper, UT. These communities are being aggressive in reaching out to California and northeast United States business owners to establish relationships and get them to relocate or expand their operations to their respective communities. We can and will do better. Cite a vote the council took in the past year that you disagreed with. How would you have voted and why? City Hall and the Arizona Avenue project.
