Are Cha Cha classes required if I just want to learn to dance salsa?
Although not required, learning Cha Cha is highly recommended for all salsa dancers. Salsa and Cha Cha always go hand in hand. When you go to most salsa parties in New York, you will find that they always mix in a few Cha Cha songs here and there. When there is a Live Salsa band at almost any event, they also usually mix in a few cha cha songs. Therefore, learning cha cha is a must for salsa dancers.
