Are Cell Phone Users At Risk Of Cancer?
The potential harmful effect of the use of cell phone on health still remains a debatable issue. The studies that were carried out for the last many years on the link between cell phones and the fatal diseases like cancer have shown contradictory and conflicting results. In spite of numerous studies there has been no consensus on whether or not cell phone may put users at risk of cancer or to what extent use of cell phone can be risky. According to some studies use of cell phone may cause brain tumors. Some other studies suggest the rate of brain tumors has slightly gone up since 1970s, though such rise in the rate might have been caused due to increased access to medical facilities, advancement of diagnostic imaging technique or several other factors such as slight increase in brain lymphomas either because of HIV or other conditions that severely harm the immune system. In fact cell phone can not be considered as a causative factor behind any rise in the cases of brain tumors in 1970
