Are cats loyal to their owners?
Your cat loves you, and prefers you to the other humans in the household. When my daughter got an excellent job out of state, she moved to that place, and we were going to wait a couple of months before we took her cats to her. Well, she had had one of those cats from the time it was an orphaned kitten, and she bottle fed it, and then weaned it, and while this cat liked my husband and me well enough, he was definitely our daughter’s cat. When she took a shower, she had to tell him that she was going to be in the bathroom, and to come in if he wanted, and he usually did. When she moved out, and didn’t come back in a couple of days, he started moping. He missed his mama! We finally had to send him, and her other cat, to be with her, because he wouldn’t eat and he was crying. Similarly, I have a cat who regards me as her own personal human.
