Are car pool lanes for use only during rush hour?
The car pool lane is designed for vehicles with two or more persons traveling in one vehicle and is in effect 24 hours a day. One exception is State Route 520 near Bellevue, west of the I-405 interchange, which requires a minimum of three people.
