You should be able to claim the prize yourself. Mega lotto is only played in certain states, but people from other states play, too. If they win, they just need to cash the winning ticket in the state where it was purchased. This would apply to you, as well. This happened to me. I live in a state that has the mega lotto but bought tickets in another state. I won a couple of dollars and learned that I had to go back to the state where I purchased the ticket to cash it in. I never did make it back, so I didn’t lose that much. Hopefully, your winnings are worth the trip. Good luck!
