Unlike most state courts, all federal courts–not just those in the Western District of Missouri–remain off limits to the use of still and video cameras, microphones, tape recorders and other electronic recording equipment, whether by journalists or non-journalists. However, anyone is free to take notes, and courtroom artists are allowed to sketch proceedings in open court.
