Are Californians Color Blind?

Let us raise our glasses in a toast, Cindi is finally writing a linked wine review. No little disclaimer at the top, this is the real thing! Thanks to Leah that is. She was kind enough to send me a bottle of wine that came from the Napa Valley, something that is not found here in the sticks where I live. Wow, a wine clear from California, I am almost afraid to open it. But then again, not that afraid. I have heard and read such wonderful stories about wines from California. The foreign wine that I will be reviewing is the Beringer White Merlot 1999 (wow, another first, a wine with a birth date right on the bottle!) While Leah is much more accustomed to California wines, and has already written the praises of this wine ( you can read her review at; http://cmuir.epinions.com/./fddk-review-3211-8730A17-38DE42E6-prod3) in the eloquent way that only she has. While my review will not contain the flowery prose that Leahs does, I hope to get the point across that this is one really good wine,
