Are bus and rail service conveniently available to Montclair residents?
The Montclair Transcenter, a multimodal transportation facility, is located on Richton Street between Monte Vista and Central Avenues. The 20-acre Transcenter is the largest such facility between Union Station in Los Angeles and San Bernardino. The Transcenter is a master planned regional transportation hub, with a regional Metrolink station, a park-and-ride facility, and an on-site day care facility. It accommodates approximately 1,600 commuter vehicles. As a multimodal regional transportation hub, the Montclair Transcenter is a major stop on the San Bernardino Metrolink line and it is served by Foothill Transit and local Omnitrans bus lines. The Transcenter will also be the easterly terminus of the Metro Gold Line light rail. Omnitrans provides bus service between Montclair and Yucaipa. For routes, stops, and schedules, call (800) 966-6428. Foothill Transit provides bus service out of the Montclair Transcenter into Los Angeles County. Metrolink commuter information (rail service) can
