Are bursaries available to clinical coders who are studying for the National Clinical Coding Qualification (UK)?
Unfortunately, there are no bursaries available from the NHS Connecting for Health ty or IHRIM. However, it may well be worth be pursuing at a local level within your own Trust to see whether the PCT/Strategic Health Authority has any training budget allocation to support this. Additionally, within you own trust we would also suggest contacting your HR department about the “access to learning” account that is available to all employees within the NHS.
