Are BUMPER PADS safe?
Bumper pads can be of any manufacture – they do not pose a crib death risk to babies. However, please note the following advice: 1. Bumper pads must be attached to the sides of the crib very securely, so that there is no possibility of the baby becoming wedged between a bumper pad and the side of the crib. 2. Bumper pads should not fully enclose the crib (i.e. they should not be placed around all four sides of the crib). They should be placed across the head of the crib and part-way down the sides.
