Bullmastiffs are very good housedogs. They are tolerant with children and learn to manage their great size. • What about training? It is a good idea to take your puppy to a socialization class offered by a local all breed club or Humane Society and get them used to meeting other people and dogs. • What type of collar should be used for training? A good chain collar is a must for obedience or leash work. The neck of the Bullmastiff is very muscular.
