Are budget cuts viable anymore in Congress?
The rule is that you have to make your budgets balance. If you control spending and don’t put a lot of pork barrel in place, don’t put a lot of money into unnecessary programs, and you set proper priorities, then you can finance government. In fact, if you handle your money correctly, then it creates funds in order to allow for some tax cuts. But you cannot cut taxes and do those things and not control spending. You have to be in a position to make those balances. And that’s a difference in this race. If you are elected to the Senate, which committees would you like to serve on?
