Are BREDE Exposition Services & the union the same thing?
They are not the same. BREDE is SEBC’s choice as a major service contractor that provides the show and its exhibitors all necessary decorating and labor services. BREDE is required to adhere to all union labor laws and hires accordingly from the appropriate local unions. BREDE does not mandate the union rules and regulations rather they are inclined to enforce them as any other service contractor would be. If you use a service contractor other than Brede Allied, you must fill out the Exhibitors Appointed Contractor form (EAC) and provide a certificate of insurance naming, Brede Allied as additional insured.
