Are breast implants demeaning or empowering for women ?
All things considered, ask a woman. If they think it is demeaning or empowering then that is what it is — to them, at that time, subject to change or re-evaluation at any time. It matters not whether the position is illogical, unsupported by reason or is totally fallaciously based. Somehow many women see themselves as the final arbiters of taste in all matters, thus their word can’t be contravened (at least in their eyes). I’ve known women who have castigated males for shallowness — due to males ostensible fixation on breast size — to gain enormously enhanced breasts then criticise their fellow sisterhood as being flat-chested “titless wonders” with denigration. Go figure!
