BOTOX Cosmetic has been used safely and successfully in ophthalmology(eye disease) for over 30 years, and for wrinkle therapy for over 10 years. In the amounts used for wrinkle therapy, the most common side effects, such as bruising, are unrelated to the BOTOX Cosmetic itself and are localized in the area of injection. No pre-testing is required. We normally have our patients return to the clinic in Kelowna for follow-up after treatment to make sure your Botox is working properly.
