Are Borzoi a healthy breed?
I would say overall Borzoi are a healthy breed, but they have their health problems like any other. You should consult your breeder about what to be concerned about in their lines, but heart problems, cancer, and bloat are almost always a big concern. Most breeders screen for good hearts, eyes, thyroid, and hips. Be sure to ask potential breeders what testing they do on their dogs, particularly their breeding stock.
