Are blacks in America forced into sports and entertainment professions?
In the case of basket ball, a disproportional large number of blacks live in high population density urban areas where basketball courts are more common than baseball and football fields. I the case of football, where the colleges serve largely as the “farm system”, and majority black inner-city high schools receive lower funding, and therefore provide lower quality education, football becomes a desired pathway to college for many blacks.
