Are black women jealous of other ethnicitys hair?
NOT AT ALL. as i think of this question more and more, i’ve come up with a theory. Society portrays women with straight hair as beautiful…maybe some of us our following the trend, not trying to be like another race. I think that everyone is following the trend because even white people with curly hair straighten it. Also (realistically speaking), straighter hair is easier to manage. I’m black and use to get perms 3-4 times a year, but i’ve only done it once this year (i’m getting off of the creamy crack aka perm) I’ve noticed that my hair is so wavy (tight waves) and i’m still trying to figure out what to do with it.
