Are Better Baths® acrylic tub or shower-base liners and wall surrounds easy to clean and maintain? What do I use to clean them?
Our liners are non-porous, so they are easy to clean and maintain. We recommend using products that clearly state “Safe for Acrylic” on their labels. Please avoid any harsh chemicals or scouring powders as these will damage the finish, just as they do in new, porcelain tubs. Simple Green® is Better Bath’s® recommendation for cleaning and maintaining your new acrylic bath or shower. Always rinse any cleaning product off the tub and wall surfaces immediately. Cleaners should not be allowed to remain on the acrylic surfaces for any length of time. Harsh scrubbing or prolonged soaking will not be necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals, disinfectants and chemical drain cleaners. The use of cleaners not recommended for use on acrylic may cause serious damage. Repair or replacement made necessary by the use of inappropriate cleaners is not covered by Better Bath’s® warranty.
